Bark River-Harris Schools is looking to fill a Student Success Coordinator position for the upcoming

2024-2025 school year.

 

This full time position will be working with elementary and secondary students. We are seeking applicants that have the ability and desire to become actively involved with our learning community, possess strong communication skills, can bring experience and knowledge to continue to make an already exemplary staff better, and can be a relentless advocate for students.


Posting requirements: Credentials:

A minimum of a Master's Degree or higher in educational leadership from an accredited college or university is required, Elementary/Junior High/High School leadership experience, Michigan Secondary Teaching Certification, and Michigan Administrative Certification.
Knowledge and experience working on compliance with special education populations is preferred but not required.

 

Core competencies: Strong communication skills, experience with social emotional learning, Michigan
Special Education law, visibility throughout school/community, collaborative leadership style, strong
knowledge base with MTSS (Multi-Tier Systems of Support), ability to build upon community resources,
familiarity with Impact Aide, Title VII, Pupil Accounting, and other state reporting requirements, strong
master scheduling experience, knowledge of best practices in curriculum development and student
assessment and the ability to develop and implement a clear deliberate vision.

The ability to oversee the BR-H Student Success Department (Behavioral Interventionist, Counselor, Speech Pathologist, Project Aware Team and Paraprofessionals) Demonstrated sound judgment, adaptability, self-confidence,
emotional maturity, initiative, enthusiasm and resourcefulness, as well as dedication to duty is preferred.


Contract Information: Administrative employment contract.

 

A competitive salary will be negotiated based upon experience. A comprehensive benefit package will also be provided.
