Executive Assistant to the Athletic Director

Qualifications
- Experience in a secretarial or administrative assistant role
- Experience in an athletic or educational setting preferred
- Experience managing events and coordinating logistics preferred
- Experience working with high school students and their families preferred
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Powerschool preferred

Job Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Athletics Department, handling phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
- Support the Athletic Director, and coaching staff to facilitate the smooth operation of the interscholastic athletics programs in the Escanaba Area Public Schools
- Update department web applications and calendars to ensure timely and accurate information is available to stakeholders
- Coordinate facility rentals, summer camps, and athletic registration processes
- Coordinate facility assignments for practices and competitions
- Organize team transportation and lodging
- Manage awards and recognition programs for athletic events
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable for department expenses, including officials' payments and budget tracking
- Maintain accurate records of student-athlete participation, eligibility, and compliance with MHSAA rules and deadlines
- Use social media platforms to highlight events and achievements
- Compile data and create reports for the Athletic Director as needed
